Flary

Aktualnie powstala tabela FlareEvents w ktorej sa znalezione flary ciekawsze przypadki sa pokazywane przez odpowiedni skrypt php :

NEW :
0/ wyszukanie listy flar wybranych jako Fl* z simbad-a i zaladowanie ich do naszej bazy (tabela InterestingObjects) , po obroce awk + perl :

Nastepnie mozna obejrzec wyniki matchowania z naszymi gwiazdami ( io_run=1 ).
Lista typow gwiazd w katalogu gcvs .

W nastepnym kroku wybralem po klasie gwiazd erruptive: 14.09.03 , zapisane w tabeli InterestingObjects z io_run=2   ale tu
chyba za slabe kryteria wzialem bo chyba jest to samo co bylo tam tylko mala gwiazdy ( chyba wtedy dalem jakis limit , a teraz nie )
wszystkie i tak sa Fl* i nic innego nie ma , wiec nic ciekawego sie nie znalazlo , moze z tym drygim typem sproboje

Inne gwiazdy zmienne z klasy 12.13.11 , sa to gwiazdy typu nove , sn etc .. zmatchowane z naszymi obiektami io_run=3

1/ koincydencja flary na obu kamerach ( czas koincydencji - wystarczy ze na obu byla tej samej nocy , to bedzie ulepszone w kolejnym kroku )
    lista flar ( run1 )

2/ Nowa wersja koincydencja z dokladnoscia do 1h, wyrzucone sa takie flary
   ktore zdarzyly sie przy koncu nocy , tzn (fl_max_time_hjd-fl_start_hjd) < DT gdzie DT zostalo dobrane na podstawie rozkladu tej zmiennej
   pik w zerze to sa wlasnie to pojasnienia przy koncu obserwacji, in wynosi DT= ...
   Zrobilem rozklady zmiennych (fl_max_time_hjd-fl_start_hjd) oraz (fl_end_hjd-fl_min_time_hjd) przy uzyciu skryptu flare_cuts! ( more plots )
   So the following cuts were deduced :
             (fl_end_hjd-fl_min_time_hjd) > 0.06 AND (fl_max_time_hjd-fl_start_hjd)>0.06
    This means 0.08 = 5184 sec - so ~ 1.5h - so we reject flares starting later then 1.5h before sunrise ..., but we must do it unless we have a lot of background
   maye new cataloging rejecting bad frames with to small number of stars for good normalization will fix this problem and we will not
   need this cut anymore , as there will not be such events when magnitude of star rises due to dusk or dawn

   ALTERNATIVLY we can change this cut so that end of flare time is checked ( a this is very narrow ) pseudo flares start with
   start of observations and finish with end of observations ( I saw this plots , but I do not have them here ) :
            (fl_start_hjd-fl_min_time_hjd) > 0.025 AND (fl_max_time_hjd-fl_end_hjd)>0.025
Real good flares - are probably this second peak in the middle (see more plots ) , but they should rather be flat ,
   so those are probably some other type of backgrund events ?
After appying this cut list of flares is the following ( run2 )

3/ MOST RECENT VERSION OF BRIGTHNESS INCREASE SEARCH
   fields fl_xy_ok , fl_mag1 and fl_mag2 , this is to check size of magnitude step due to xy change ( mount move ) :
Distribution of abs(fl_mag1-fl_mag2) ( eps ) , acording to this plot the following cut was applied :
             fl_xy_ok=1 OR abs(fl_mag1-fl_mag2)<0.1
Resulting list of flares after appling all above cuts , can be found here ( faster version ) - there are some nice flares here

4/ Script for finding flares based on nova detection ( after a lot of changes ) , results for single tested night 20041215

    zadana aby nowy obiekt pojawil sie na klatce po co najmniej N ( dla run8 N=5 ) klatkach z tego pola, chodzilo o to ze
   w poprzedniej wersji ( run=7) zlapalem mase obiektow typu planetoidy i planety ( obiekty wedrujace po niebie ), stad potrzeba
   takiej metody, zrobilem plot ile przybywa nowych obiektow w funkcji # obserwacji pola :

   po dodaniu wiekszej liczby min_field_obs dla nocy kiedy pole jest obserwowane 1 raz do 30
