Postgraduate studies

Postgraduate studies in Physics and Astronomy and in Teaching of Natural Sciences, with a duration of three semesters, are addressed to teachers of the exact sciences wishing to obtain certification to teach Physics as well as those who already hold such certification, but wish to increase their level of qualifications.

Postgraduate Studies in Physics and Astronomy

The duration of study is three semesters. The curriculum adds up to about 380 hours of classroom study, including lectures illustrated by experiments, practice class, workshops and lab work.

Classes will take place on Tuesdays, between 9 AM and 4 PM.

A part of the teaching takes place remotely (over the Internet), including provision of writeups and tests. Students are also require to perform some tasks outside the classroom (both theoretical and experimental).

Postgraduate Studies in the Teaching of Natural Sciences

This course of study is a preparation to teach natural science in 4th to 6th grade of elementary school. Duration of the course is three semesters.
