Janek Kolodynski

Janek - photo Hello. Welcome to my web pages.

I am a PhD student within the Chair of Quantum Optics and Atomic Physics at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw.

Currently my research work is supported within the framework of Foundation for Polish Science's TEAM programme:
"Photonic Implementations of Quantum-Enhanced Technologies".

My interests lie within the subjects of quantum information theory, quantum computation, quantum optics and foundations of quantum mechanics, with particular emphasis on their mathematical aspects. You can read more about my research and publications on my research pages.

I work within the group of Prof. Konrad Banaszek, who is also the supervisor of my PhD studies. At the moment I am tackling new problems of quantum metrology and estimation theory with Dr. Rafal Demkowicz-Dobrzański. I also do some dirty:) theoretical job in quantum optics for Dr. Wojciech Wasilewski.
