We plan to publish conference proceedings as a volume of the Banach Center Publications. Volume 40, published in 1997, contains the proceedings of the Quantum Groups and Quantum Spaces mini-semester. We wish to continue this tradition.

We invite the contributions connected as much as possible to the main four topics of the school/conference. We welcome review, research (this includes Comptes Rendus style notes) and mixed type articles. All received papers will be refereed. The emphasis is put on the quality of explaining and clarifying important mathematical issues. Thus a detailed calculation exemplifying the fine print of the concept of the spectral triple is as welcome as arguments motivating a particular class of open problems. Both technical remarks and review essays that provide a significant insight into the discussed matter are invited.

By the end of 2001, we would like to know the names of all prospective authors. The tentative deadline for submitting manuscripts is 30 April 2002. Some technical information for the authors can be found here. Manuscripts have to be sent by electronic mail in the form of a tex file. (No paper mail please.) Contributions in the area of locally compact quantum groups should be sent to W.Pusz, and the remaining ones to P.M.Hajac.
