All hotels can be easily accessed from the main train station WARSZAWA CENTRALNA or from the Frederick Chopin (Okecie) AIRPORT (located 10 km from the city centre) by taxi. Taxis are available directly at the exit doors (ignore persons in the arrival hall or outside offering a ride). The taxi price depends on the company (1.40 - 2.60 PLN/km day rate). Taxi can be also ordered on phone: 9191 (MPT Taxi), 22 6777777 (Merc Taxi), 22 6444444 (Sawa Taxi).
The hotels: "Harenda", "Ibis Stare Miasto", "Gromada Centrum", "Novotel" can be also accessed by bus 175 (please pay particular attention to your wallet and handbags since pick pockets are active on this line). Tickets (2.40 PLN for every single ride on bus, tram or underground) should be bought in newspaper kiosks (or from the driver at 3.00 PLN) and validated after entering the bus/tram or at the underground station.
