Welcome. I have to mention that this curriculum was prepared on 2001, when I was looking for post-doc position. Time is running and there is much more items to add but since it is not necessary now... Please, treat it as my "PhD student achievements" :)

Some other achievements

2001 – I participated in the organising of the celebration of "10 years of Internet in Poland" (see: http://www.internet10.pl"). The Polish Internet began in 1991 at Faculty of Physics. I was the secretary of the Organising Committee.

In 1999 I organised Microsoft Authorised Academic Training Centre (AATC) at Warsaw University at Faculty of Physics. I provoked the settlement of AATC. Nowadays I teach administering of MS Windows NT 4.0 Server (courses #803 and #922) 1 999/2000, and Administering of MS Windows 2000 Server (courses #2151 and #2152) 2000/2001.

I delivered two lectures during IV Science Festival in Warsaw, September 15-24, 2000 entitled "How does the computer work – Solid State Physics at the and of the century (part I and II)" (see http://www.icm.edu.pl/festiwal/program.html and http://www.icm.edu.pl/festiwal/opis122.html )

I was invited to participate in the Polish Radio BIS programme "The word after next 50 years – physics" (14.11.2000). I also gave the interview for Polish Radio One (PR1) in the programme "The Evening with Radio One" (16.1 1.2000) as the laureate of the Domestic Fellowship for Young Scholars awarded by the Foundation for Polish Science (references; Maria Bobrowska PR1)

I attended, as a UNESCO expert and trainer, the International LINUX Workshop The Telematics And Networking Workshop, African Advanced Level Telecommunication Institute (A FRALTI) hold in Nairobi, Kenya, 9-20 August 1999. (references: see letter from Wojciech Jasiński, Charge d' Affaires in Polish Embassy in Nairobi )

1989-1995 I have organised 6 cruises over Mazurskie Lakes (5-6 boats). (references: my wife J )

In addition to my scientific research I was also working on the Internet popularisation program, as a member of the Warsaw University project "Internet for Schools" (http://www .ids.edu.pl ). In 1996 I wrote one of the first Internet handbooks published in Poland (see http://www.ids.edu.pl/info/podrecznik.h tml ). These handbooks were distributed free of charge in schools which were connected to the Internet under the "Internet for Schools" project. In 1998 these handbooks were published in the magazine of t he Polish Ministry of National Education entitled "The Computer in the School".

1997-1999 I have organised (as the manager) the Education Department in Internet for Schools (IdS) and then in Internet Data Systems Sp. z.o.o (IDS). For instance in 1998 I've organised 2 weeks "Summer Internet IdS's sc hool" for 1000 teachers from whole Poland.

At 1995 I was a webmaster (it was not so popular job that time!)

Hobbies:

Physics (member of the Polish Physical Society since 1999); biophysics - structural genomics, functional studies of proteins; solid state physics - new technologies, their applications: spintronics, nanotechnology, quantum computers; chaotic dynamics (member of the Student Non-Linear Physics Research Group 1993-1998), yachting (1989-1995 I have organised 6 cruises over Mazurskie Lakes (5-6 boats)), skiing, dancing (mostly Rock & Roll), reading books, philosophy (mainly the philosophy and history of science). Since 1996 I've been interested in Internet, internetworking technologies and applications, and their influences on the social life and market. The modern information technologies enable and generate new chances in the style of life and work.

Also I love playing with children very much!
