Zdzisław Szymański Prize for the year of 2007 (national Prize) and years of 2005-2007 (international Prize)
The national Prize for the year of 2007 consists of a scientific stipend of
PLN 10 000.
The international Prize for the years of 2005-2007 consists of a scientific stipend of
PLN 10 000.
We
kindly inform, that the Selection Committee of the Zdzisław Szymański Prize, after a thorough
evaluation of candidates has decided to nominate Dr. Adam Klimkiewicz for his
systematic investigation of the dipole response
in exotic neutron-rich nuclei in 132Sn mass region, and
Prof. Benoit Jean-Paul Gall for his outstanding contribution to experimental in-beam studies
of superdeformed, octupole deformed and heavy nuclei”.
The
Dean of the Faculty of Physics of the Warsaw University has accepted the
nomination.
