How to effect payments from abroad?

Kredyt Bank allows the following methods of transferring money to Poland from abroad:

  1. Bank transfer to the account given on the main page. If the bank-sender needs or requires it, the SWIFT code of Kredyt Bank can be written: KRDBPLPWWAA. Kredyt Bank does not take commissions neither for incoming transfers, nor for exchange of transfer currency. Commission of bank-sender (if required) can be paid at ordering transfer, or deducted from the transfer amount (in such situation a suitable remark has to be made).
  2. Purchase of checks signed by foreign banks, also the so called Travellers Checks. Commission in such situation equals 1% (20 PLN minimum). The commission amount is deducted from the check amount. The check amount appears on the account immediately, but checks of not all the banks are purchased.
  3. Collection of checks signed by foreign banks. Collection commission equals 0.3% (20 PLN minimum, 200 PLN maximum). The commission amount is deducted from the check amount. The check amount appears on the account at the moment the check is cashed by a foreign bank, which may last 1 - 2 months

Checks should be sent to the Prize Board directly.

Unfortunately, at present debiting credit cards by Kredyt Bank is not possible.
