In this section, we present a comparison between pairing renormalization and regularization procedures applied to a large number of nuclei. As representative results, we discuss results obtained for the drip-to-drip line isotopic chains of spherical Sn nuclei as well as for deformed Dy nuclei. Calculations are performed for the volume and/or mixed pairing interactions by using the HFB+THO approach.
