Procedure

The data of one subject (male, right-handed, 29 years old) who reliably has displayed 40-Hz oscillations prior to movement (previously reported in [9]) was used for the present EEG data analyses. During the voluntary movement experiment the subject performed about 100 brisk extension and flexion movements of the right index finger in intervals not shorter than 12 s.
