Flat field creation procedure

1. Creation of flat field

• collect frames with constant mount position ( no tracking ) best in flat mode ( dittering mode )
• put fitc files into directory create list file, I assume that dark frame file is dark1.fitc and list file is fitc_list
• execute flatmaker program with the following options :
  
     flatmaker2 fitc_list flat1.fit -dark=dark1.fitc
  
  Name of created flat field file will be flat1.fit , for more sophisticated options check here 
  By default frame (24,8,8,8) is ignored - this is due to our currect Fairchild chip properties.
  
• Note:  each frame is ~8.5 MB this gives 100 frames = 100 * 8.5 MB = 850 MB -> 200 frames ~= 1.6 GB
  in case there is >>200 frames you can prepare fitc_list by taking every second or third frame with usage of script :
