I'm intrested in experimental studies of reactions with light exotic nuclei, mainly with 6He at low and medium energies. The subject of my master work was: Measurement of total reaction cross section for 6He ions on a 12C target at energy 169 MeV. It was description and data analysis from experiment that was make in Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions (JINR, Dubna) on separator ACCULINNA(some deatils are in Work fold).

Main subject of my PhD will be an expriment that was made in Cyclotron Research Centre at Louvain-la-Neuve: Measurement of reaction channels for sub-barrier 6He energies by activation method.

Radioactive ion beams (RIB) and exotic, far from stability nuclei are most intriguing and fastest expanding fields in modern nuclear physics. Importance of radioactive beams for the understanding of the atomic nucleus has been the main emphasis. With the continuous improvement in the intensities and optical qualities of secondary radioactive beams, mechanisms such as Coulomb excitation and more recently elastic and inelastic scattering, transfer and knock-out reactions are rapidly becoming standard tools for the investigation of the structure of nuclei far from stability. Having strong beams of certain radioactive isotopes can also be extremely useful for other fields. For example: fundamental interactions (Standard Model) , nuclear astrophysics (nucleosynthesis), solid-state physics, nuclear medicine (Positron Emission Tomography).
