Title: Exploring twist-3 PDFs g_T(x), e(x) and h_L(x) in lattice QCD using quasi-PDF approach Abstract: The quasi-PDF approach, proposed by Ji in 2013, has sparked a new wave of interest in extracting PDFs from lattice QCD. This approach relies on the extraction of matrix elements of fast-moving hadrons coupled to space-like separated quark fields. Such auxiliary quantities can be related to the light-cone PDFs using a perturbative procedure called matching. This procedure has demonstrated success in the extraction of the twist-2 PDFs as well as twist-2 GPDs from lattice QCD. We explore the formalism of matching, for the first time, for the twist-3 PDFs g_T(x), e(x) and h_L(x). Regarding the theoretical aspects of such matching-type calculations, we make several non-trivial observations, all of which arise from the singular zero-mode contributions present in the perturbative results of the light-cone and quasi-PDFs. As such, we lay the necessary (non-trivial) theoretical foundations for dealing with such zero-mode contributions in matching-type calculations. From the lattice side, we also present the first-ever x-dependent twist-3 results. Finally, we also address the validity and the violation of the Burkhardt-Cottingham-type sum rules in perturbative model calculations. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Details of the internet connection: Topic: ILCACseminar Time: This is a recurring meeting Meet anytime Join Zoom Meeting https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81572103194?pwd=eE1QVWZFc1hWbWszZ2N0RW1iWHFBZz09 Meeting ID: 815 7210 3194 Passcode: 993698 One tap mobile +16699006833,,81572103194#,,,,*993698# US (San Jose) +19292056099,,81572103194#,,,,*993698# US (New York) Dial by your location +1 669 900 6833 US (San Jose) +1 929 205 6099 US (New York) +1 253 215 8782 US (Tacoma) +1 301 715 8592 US (Washington D.C) +1 312 626 6799 US (Chicago) +1 346 248 7799 US (Houston) Meeting ID: 815 7210 3194 Passcode: 993698 Find your local number: https://us02web.zoom.us/u/kbxYv3lMSu Please check carefully to what local time at your location the hour 13:30 GMT corresponds.
