Job experience

2001 – present: post-doc position at the Institute for Micro- and Optoelectronics at Ecole Plytechnique Federale de Lausanne (Switzerland)

1999 – 2001: manager of organised Microsoft Authorised Academic Training Centre at Warsaw University (AATC UW). In 1999 I organised AATC UW at Faculty of Physics. I provoke the settlement of AATC and I bec ame to be a trainer. Nowadays I teach administering of MS Windows NT 4.0 Server (courses #803 and #922) 1999/2000, and Administering of MS Windows 2000 Server (courses #2151 and #2152) 2000/2001.

I attended, as a UNESCO expert and trainer, the International LINUX Workshop The Telematics And Networking Workshop, African Advanced Level Telecommunication Institute (AFRALTI) held in Nairobi, Kenya, 9-20 August 1999. (refer ences: see letter from Wojciech Jasiński, Charge d' Affaires in Polish Embassy in Nairobi ). I taught there the Internet, TCP/IP and the creation of the WWW services (HTML).

In addition to my scientific research I was also working on the Internet popularisation program, as a member of the Warsaw University project "Internet for Schools" (http://www .ids.edu.pl ). In 1996 I wrote one of the first Internet handbooks published in Poland (see the site http://www.ids.edu.pl/info/pod recznik.html ). These handbooks were distributed free of charge in schools which were connected to the Internet under the "Internet for Schools" project. In 1998 these handbooks were published in the maga zine of the Polish Ministry of National Education entitled "The Computer in the School". 1997-1999 I have organised (as the manager) the Education and Training Department for in Internet for Schools (IdS) (http://www.ids.edu.pl ) and then the Training Department in Internet Data Systems Sp. z.o.o (IDS) (http://www.ids.net.pl ). For instance: in 1997 I orga nised the internet training for 224 Polish communities (references: see the letter from Marek Trznadel from Development Alternatives, Inc.); in 1998 I organised and coordinated two weeks "Summer Internet IdS's school" for 1000 teacher from w hole Poland. In 1999 I decided to focus only on my PhD and I resign from being the manager.

At 1995 I was a webmaster (it was not so popular job that time!). In 1996-1998 I was the main webmaster in Internet for Schools (IdS) (http://www.ids.edu.pl ).
