for his systematic investigation of the dipole response in exotic neutron-rich nuclei in ¹³²Sn mass region

and International Prize

prof. Benoît Jean-Paul Gall
from Université Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg

for his outstanding contribution to experimental in-beam studies of superdeformed, octupole-deformed and heavy nuclei

Laureates were invited to give lectures during the Exotic Nuclei and Atomic Masses conference 2008 (ENAM08), September 7-13, Ryn, Poland: lecture by A. Klimkiewicz, and lecture by B. Gall.
