Travel

There will be a special bus from Warsaw to the conference site in the afternoon (~ 5 PM) on Saturday, June 25th. The bus will leave from the Institute of Physics at Hoza 69 (see map). If you come early, you can leave your luggage at the Institute.

To get to the institute form the airport:
Take a bus No 175 from the ground (arrival) level of the airport to the centre of Warsaw. The ticket costs 2.80 zl per person and can be bought at the newspaper stand. Time of travel to the city centre is about 30-40 minutes (pay attention to your wallet and handbags since pickpockets could be at work).
Alternatively, you could take a taxi. They are available on the arrival (i.e. ground level) directly at the exit doors (ignore anyone offering a ride). If there are no taxis waiting, you can order one at the special desk in the arrival hall. Time of travel to the centre of Warsaw is about 20 minutes. An average fare is approximately 20–25 zl (6 EUR).

You can also reach Kazimierz by train from the Warsaw Central Railway Station to Pulawy (station Pulawy Miasto every two hours; see timetable) and then by a town bus no. 12 from Pulawy to Kazimierz (14 km – you can buy a ticket at the driver or in newspaper kiosks).

The bus back to Warsaw will depart from Kazimierz in the morning (~ 9 AM) of July 2nd. It should reach Warsaw before noon.
