2026-04-15

We invite you to participate in the International Conference on the Development and Applications of Nuclear Technologies (NUTECH 2026), which will take place from 21 to 23 September 2026 in Warsaw. This event is organized by the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology in collaboration with the Faculty of Energy and Fuels at AGH University of Science and Technology, the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw, and the Polish Nuclear Society.

NUTECH 2026 continues the legacy of the National Symposia on Nuclear Technology Applications in Industry, Agriculture, Medicine, and Environmental Protection, which have been held since 1960. Organized every three years, this event has provided a vital platform for the scientific community to exchange knowledge and experiences in the diverse field of nuclear technology applications for over six decades. It will offer a unique opportunity for specialists, scientists, practitioners, and representatives from research and industrial institutions to come together. Participants will have the chance to present and discuss their achievements, share experiences, gain new insights, learn about the latest theoretical concepts and their practical applications, and establish potential scientific and technological collaborations.

The conference covers topics such as: current status and future of nuclear energy, the role of nuclear power in energy transition, reactor safety, new reactor technologies, research reactors, production of radiopharmaceuticals, nuclear medicine, radiation processing of materials, radiation sterilization and health care products, development, food irradiation, industrial application of the nuclear techniques, radiation technologies in environmental and earth studies applications, nuclear technologies in protection and identification of cultural heritage, radiation measurements, data processing and acquisition, quality control and assurance in nuclear technologies, management of nuclear wastes, radioanalytical and radiotracer techniques, radiation sources (eb, X-ray and gamma) development applications, radioprotection and radiobiology.

The conference program includes lectures, oral presentations, and poster sessions. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and the authors will be informed about their acceptance and the form of presentation. The early registration deadline is April 24.
