On 21–25 May 2026, two Polish teams — Euler Elfs and PLANK Challenge — selected in the March national qualifiers of the PLANCKS competition, took part in the finals held in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Both teams representing Poland consisted of students from our Faculty. The Euler Elfs team placed 8th, ranking among the top competitors, while the PLANK Challenge team placed 22nd.

PLANCKS (Physics League Across Numerous Countries for Kick-ass Students) is an international physics competition aimed at students in the sciences. The competition involves solving challenging problems from various areas of physics in teams. PLANCKS aims to foster a passion for physics, promote student cooperation, and bring together young scientists from around the world.

The Euler Elfs team, composed of Filip Baciak, Jerzyk Gamdzyk, Paweł Przybyła, and Piotr Borodako, placed 8th, ranking among the top competitors.

The PLANK Challenge team, composed of Gniewoj Michalewski, Maksymilian Wdowiarz-Bilski, Filip Sugier, and Andrzej Maroń, placed 22nd in the competition’s final ranking.
