Abstracts – one page
  • Abstracts should be submitted in English and should not exceed one single sided A4 (210x297 mm) page, including figures.
  • Start with the title in CAPITAL LETTERS, leave two line-spaces and write the author(s) name(s), affiliation(s) (please give full address including telephone, fax number and e-mail address). Leave a further two line spaces and type the text. 
  • Please use MS WORD, Post Script or pdf format.
  • We recommend to send the abstract by e-mail as an attachment. Otherwise please send one original and two copies of the abstract to the Conference Secretary. In a covering letter the authors should indicate the main topic of their abstract.

The proceedings will be published as a regular issue of "physica status solidi (b)". The articles will be 8-10 pages for invited speakers and 4-6 pages for contributed papers. The reviewing of the articles will be performed by participants at the meeting.

The program includes invited talks, oral presentations and poster sessions. It is also designed to give young scientists (e.g. PhD students) a chance to learn about the most important issues in the field.

The Conference covers a broad range of topics concerned with the fundamental properties of shallow-levels in semiconductors and with impurity related issues of importance to semiconductor technology.

The conference will start on Wednesday afternoon July 24 and close on Saturday evening July 27.
 

Conference Fee
The conference fee prepaid before 30 May 2002 is:
220 USD or 250 EUR
Late registration:
300 USD or 340 EUR
The special „student” fee (without proceedings)
140 USD or 160 EUR
Registration fee for Accompanying person (Reception and diner)
50 USD or 55 EUR

Passport and Visa
Each participant is responsible for obtaining a passport and a visa when applicable. Please check with your local Polish Embassy or Consulate, at least 3 months before the conference, what documents are required. Nonofficial list of countries without visas.

Letters of Invitation
Upon request, the organizing committee will issue a letter of invitation for those who need help with necessary procedures for attendance. No financial commitment is implied in a letter of invitation.

Accommodation
Warsaw hotels at special conference rate are available. There will be a limited possibility of accommodation in cheaper (lower standard) hotels and „dormitories”. Details.
