Observing our surrounding

can see, there are different methods to view the world corresponding
to the size of the thing you are viewing.
To observe very small objects or objects very far away special tools
are needed, like the microscope or the telescope. However, to observe
the interior of matter very different set of apparatus is needed.
With the help of powerful accelerators we can accelerate particles to
the very high energies needed to observe the interior of matter and
produce new matter. With high energy particles as probes it is possible
to explore the interior of matter and in addition to produce the kind
of matter that was quite abundant at the time of creation - Big Bang -
but now hardly exists at all in the nature.
