„Particle production in heavy-ion collisions”

Streszczenie: We study γ, π-, η- and vector-meson production in heavy-ion collisions. The dynamical evolution of the nucleu-nucleus collision is described by a transport equation of the Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck type evolving phase-space distribution functions for nucleons, Δ’s, N(1440)’s, N(1535)’s π’s and η’s with their isospin degrees of freedom. The results of calculation for the photon production (dependent on the compressibility of the nuclear matter) are compared with experimental data measured at GANIL at energies 30-60 MeV/u. Furthermore, we present results for meson production in heavy-ion collisions at SIS energies.
