„Near threshold production and propagation of strangeness in heavy ion collisions”
prelegent: James Ritman (GSI - Darmstadt)
Streszczenie: The production of particles with strange quark content in relativistic heavy ion collisions is expected to contain information on hadronic properties in high density nuclear the matter. Recently the FOPI detector at SIS/GSI Darmstadt has been used to measure the yield and phase space distributions of K+, K0, K–, and Δ hadrons produced in Ni+Ni reactions at 1, 1.5, and 2 A GeV. The significant differences observed in the azimuthal distributions of the co-produced kaons and lambdas allow conclusions to be drawn about the effective kaon potential within the framework of RBUU calculations.
