Dnia 13 stycznia 2011 odbyło się seminarium pt.
„Physics opportunities and status of the SPIRAL 2 Project”
prelegent: prof. Marek Lewitowicz (GANIL, France)
Streszczenie: The SPIRAL 2 Radioactive Ion Beam facility [http://pro.ganil-spiral2.eu/], an ambitious extension of the GANIL accelerator complex, has entered recently in the construction phase. A use of RI beams at the low-energy ISOL facility (DESIR) and their acceleration to several MeV/nucleon as well as of high neutron flux at the n-TOF like facility will open new possibilities in nuclear structure physics, nuclear astrophysics, reaction dynamics studies. The physics case of SPIRAL 2, the project construction status and new concepts of dedicated detection systems (ACTAR, FAZIA, GASPARD, PARIS, S3) will be presented.
