Submit your abstract

Invited speakers, and other participants who wish to present their contributions during the conference, are kindly requested to submit abstracts of their presentations. Abstracts should be written in LaTeX format, using the conference abstract template, and are limited in size to one printed page. The corresponding examples of the abstract in the HTML or Postscript formats are also available. Please send the LaTeX files by E-mail to Jacek Dobaczewski. Use the epsf.sty style format if you wish to include figures in your abstract. If you strongly prefer to submit your abstract in another format (HTML, MS-Word...), we shall try to retype it in LaTeX format for you. Submitted abstracts will be successively made available on-line in HTML and Postscript formats.

The deadline for submitting the abstracts is fixed at December 31, 2000.

Contributions printed in the conference proceedings

Invited talks, and oral and poster contributed presentations, will be published as the conference proceedings in a dedicated volume of Acta Physica Polonica. Conference papers are limited in size to 10 (invited talks) and 5 (oral or poster contributed presentations) printed journal pages. The conference papers will undergo the standard Acta Physica Polonica refereeing procedure. Conference papers can be published only if at least one of the authors attends the conference.

The Organizing Committee strongly encourages participants to prepare the printed versions of their contributions before the conference. Papers should be prepared in accordance with the Acta Physica Polonica Author's Guide, and submitted to Jacek Dobaczewski, who will serve as the editor of the proceedings. Authors are asked to prepare the papers preferably in the LaTeX format, and using the Acta Physica Polonica LaTeX templates. Please use the epsf.sty style format if you wish to include figures in your paper. The LaTeX file (and the Postscript files with figures) should be sent by E-mail to Jacek Dobaczewski.

The deadline for submitting the final versions of contributions is fixed at March 15, 2001.

Authors are also encouraged to independently submit their contributions to the Los Alamos preprint archive. For those who need assistance, the Organizing Committee can provide some help in submitting their articles to this widely popular electronic database.

Every registered participant will receive his copy of the conference proceedings. Authors of printed contributions will receive reprints of their articles free of charge. Please note that Acta Physica Polonica makes available through its www page the electronic copies of all published articles free of charge and without a registration or obligation to subscribe to the paper version.
