We are sorry to announce the cancellation of the workshop
due to several simultaneous difficulties we encountered when organizing the event.

The workshop Non-minimal Higgs models and vacuum stability will take place at the shore of the Baikal lake, in a small village Bolshie Koty (Big Cats), from June 28th to July 3rd. This is the second event of the series, after the first workshop held in 2009.

The Workshop is organized jointly by the University of Warsaw, Poland, Irkutsk State University, Russia, and Institute of Mathematics, Novosibirsk, Russia.

The focus will be on theoretical aspects of non-minimal Higgs models including models with several doublets and singlets, in the light of the recent LHC and astrophysical data. The topics will include

  • symmetries in models,
  • vacuum structure and stability,
  • charged Higgs bosons,
  • CP symmetry violation,
  • non-standard collider signals,
  • astroparticle aspects.

This is a small workshop with limited (< 50) number of participants, right in the middle of beautiful Siberian nature. The event will stimulate closer interactions and exchanges of ideas between senior and younger scientists.

We invite all physicists interested in the Higgs physics to participate in this event.

Students and PhD students willing to attend the workshop should arrange for a recommendation letter from their supervisors to be sent to hi16 -at- fuw.edu.pl.
