String Theory Journal Club

The talk will be devoted to describing past and currentresearch on quantum groups carried out in the Department ofMathematical Methods in Physics. I will give a precise definition of acompact quantum group and indicate what are the interesting questionsand recent results. Time permitting I might also say a few words aboutnon-compact quantum groups.
