I will present a definition of observables in General Relativity which are invariant under the action of a large class of gauge transformations. For their construction coordinates adapted to a world line of an observer (Fermi coordinates) are used. The proposed observables have natural physical interpretation, but unfortunately turn out to be singular as functionals on phase space.
