A 2.5-year postdoctoral position is available in the newly established Materials Design & Manufacturing group at NOMATEN, Warsaw, Poland.
Research focus: Statistical mechanics methods combined with machine learning techniques (including ML interatomic potentials) applied to complex materials.
Project topic: One of the group’s core areas: (metallic) glasses, high-entropy alloys, or mechanical metamaterials (depending on the candidate's background).

Requirements: PhD in physics, computational science, or a related field, obtained no more than 6 years prior to the start date. Experience in computational simulations and/or machine learning for materials is expected. Prior work with complex/disordered systems is an advantage.
